Kevin MacG. Adams, Ph.D. / Professor and Engineer
Welcome to my web site. I hope that you will find the information useful and the site easy to navigate.
My professional areas of specialization are in systemic thinking, systems engineering, and system of systems engineering. The foundation for all three of these areas is systems theory.
My construct for systems theory is a series of axioms and associated principles that are fundamental to all man-made systems. The axiom set provides the construct and the principles are the fundamental truths that permit improved understanding of man-made systems.
As you review this site you will learn that this construct for systems theory is truly transdisciplinary, drawing its attendant principles from the six generally accepted fields of science. The transdiciplinary foundation and discipline-agnostic framework for systems theory permit systems theory to be adopted as a generalized approach in understanding the behavior of complex, man-made systems.
